Current Work

I am currently working on the next generation of our current flagship product, the MIRA XTR. The current premier handheld Raman system for safe in-field identification of unknown materials.

In a collaboration with Boston Dynamics, Metrohm Raman demonstrates how the MIRA XTR can improve the safety and effectiveness of in-field identification of hazardous materials for first responders.

The MIRA XTR seen in this video makes use of our Standoff Attachment to take measurements at range.

Other novel applications of the MIRA XTR include a project by the Swiss Drones and Robotics Centre, where they attached a MIRA XTR with a probe attachment to a drone, giving them the ability to remotely identify materials at both long range, as well as height.
